I am a middle and high school math teacher in Arizona. I love to learn and explore new places and new things.
I competitively play the trading card game "Magic: The Gathering," which has been great as a way to travel the world and make connections with people from different cultures.

I love music, philosophy, math, psychology, and nature. I hike and explore whenever I can. I play the violin and guitar and sing a bit, and I love teaching.

Couchsurfing provides a way to travel that exits the safe bubble of hotels and AirBnB's, and gives me an opportunity to connect with the local culture in a much more meaningful way. As I've learned so far, its also a way to meet some fantastic people!
