About Me

I am someone with passion in learning languages and meeting real-life friendly people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been on Couchsurfing for a number of years, but have been previously idle, however after completing some Workaway in Germany (as well as a short stay in both Poland and Norway), I am aware of the unique amazing opportunities that contact with geniune local people in different location can give you.

Through my use of Couchsurfing I hope to share some equally good times with others in different cities

Music, Movies, and Books

It would remiss of me to mention anything in my interests before a band called Queens of the Stone Age. More or less any song from them

Music:
Queens of the Stone Age, MF Doom, Primus, The Raconteurs, The Wombats, The Friend Within

TV series:
Mad Men, Fargo (Netflix), Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley

Books:
Lee Child's Jack Reacher series

Films:
The Truman Show, The Italian Job, Inception

Teach, Learn, Share

I am enthusiastic about teaching people skills:

I like guitar - some people say I'm not bad at it - I am more than happy to teach you a song however it might not be one you know due to my favourite band (Queens of the Stone Age dominating all the songs I learn)

I like programming, but I'm not anywhere near developer level (yet).
Specifically I like Python and some JavaScript

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge of (primitive) German that I like talking about or trying to practice

Knowledge of web design and software concepts which I can use to assist with some computer problems

My experiences of travel and life so far, in everyday conversation I like to think interesting and funny stories I have picked up materialise naturally in normal conversation
