Born in Utah, I've spent most of my life living here with the exception of the 6 years living abroad. At the age of 15 my family moved to Brazil. Since then I have spent time living in Mexico and Portugal. By 21 I returned to Utah and have been here ever since. Living abroad gave me a love for meeting new people and interacting with their lives and ideas. I have a passion for outdoor adventures and find joy in rock climbing and canyoneering. I'm currently studying to become a teacher, and plan to move abroad to teach at international high schools.

Chances are, I'm traveling with my wife who I married in 2018. She is a beautiful person who shares my love for Brazil and learning from local cultures and ideas. Together we are fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She has spent time living in Brazil, Mexico, and Peru.
