Overview
About Me
Hi everyone, I'm a 25 year old outdoor instructor from the UK. After graduating from the University of Bath I'm currently working my way around the world teaching children about the environment and volunteering on wildlife conservation projects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, meeting new people and exploring different cultures. Couchsurfing to me is a fantastic initiative for open minded people to meet and help make the world a more connected place. We all share one planet, it's time we started treating everyone like the neighbours that we are.
Interests
As long as I'm outside I'm happy. My favourite things to do include mountain walking, rock climbing, snorkeling, and looking for wildlife.
When I'm less mobile I enjoy practicing circus skills - mostly poi, slacklining and 3 ball juggling, though I dabble in most circus toys.
On the rare occasions I am in one place long enough, cooking is one of my passions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I first learnt to juggle in the Namib Desert, Namibia.
I was out volunteering with EHRA (Elephant Human Relations Aid) helping support the native elephant populations and educate the local population about conservation techniques. One of the members of our team brought along her juggling balls and asked if anyone wanted to learn. Always keen to try something new, within 2 hours I was able to juggle and completely hooked.
Teach, Learn, Share
As teaching is my job, I am always happy to share my knowledge with anyone who will listen. From conservation biology to geography, maths to star constellations (mostly Greek stories) I love teaching whatever I am able.
It is rare to find me without some form of circus prop and I am happy to share tricks with those who already have some skill, and teach basics to those just starting out.
I love to learn about the local history and culture of every country I visit. If you can share with me any local customs, stories or recipes I will eagerly listen for hours.
Everyone has something they can teach, and I love learning, so whatever it is that you are able to teach me I will be grateful.
