I'm a 30 year old guy that really loves travelling and meeting all kinds of different people as long as they are kind hearted. I am curious about many things and that's what drives my life. My wife is French and I just moved back to the US after living in France for the last 6 years. I have used ride sharing sites alot while traveling and now I'd like to try couch surfing because I like the concept.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the concept behind the site and believe that any experience travelling will always be more fulfilling when staying with locals. Also, philosophically I like the idea of promoting people to mix and make friends all over the world as a way to achieve peace and happiness.

My favorite book is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I also really like Terry Pratchett books. There are too many great movies and pieced of music to list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was twenty five I moved to France with my then girlfriend to live without speaking any French. After a year I learned the language and was able to live and have conversations in French. I don't know that this is amazing, but for me it is one of the most fulfilling things I have done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think that I am fairly good at making conversation and cooking for guests and hosts. I have respect for everyone of all different types and am clean and pick up after myself. I can share my love of the outdoors and travelling as well.
