Overview
About Me
Hi fellow surfer and host, I'm Scotty, a.k.a. Scotty Compton as my friends know me. I'm laid-back, easy going and extroverted. I have alot of life experience I love to share and like to hear about other's life experiences. I'm currently in the process of moving to Dallas and looking for a job/place to live. In the meantime I'm doing the CS thing and networking with fellow travelers and hosts. When I'm not doing web design or graphic design, I love to cook, play guitar, a game of Chess or just chill and swap stories. I'm liberal-leaning, and I'd prefer to hang with like-minded people and of course travel. When I'm traveling, I go out of my way to leave as small a footprint as possible while I'm in someone's home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I love travel, and I love meeting new people and helping out wherever I can. I hear so many interesting stories from people I've met recently. Although I'm new to CS, I'm hoping to meet even more this way. To me the best times are the simple ones - just sitting around a fire pit sharing stories and playing music. I don't need to do complicated, expensive things to have fun.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Rush, Deep Purple, Marylin Manson, Tool, Type-O Negative, blues, bluegrass, classic rock, pretty much anything except rap and country (but I do like Snoop Dogg & Ice-T). I do alot of online reading mostly of a technical nature, but my two favorite books are "The 48 laws Of Power" and "The Dirt" by Motley Crue (not the Netflix movie lol) Movies - Sci-fi, action, adventure, GoT, oldies, pretty flexible on this too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent the last year living in the jungles of Costa Rica as a hiatus from work and life. Pura Vida, mae!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to help you out if I can in some way while I'm visiting - here's a few things I can definitely do for you:
* Make a new logo for your business
* Build you a brochure or flyer
* Design a sign for your next protest march
* Help you with your website
* Make a meme
* Edit your mom out of your favorite picture of you and your bae
* Cook my world-famous Italian Pork Chops
* Change the oil in your car
* Mow your lawn
* Make you a badass omelette
* Teach you how to roll a cigarette with a dollar bill
* Play guitar (badly)
* Tell you dirty jokes 'till you cry
* Share some of my weird travel experiences
* I come with my own chess board - play chess
* Yell at Trump
* Clean your garage (maybe)
* Help you with other computer stuff
* Tell you that dress does not make you look fat
* Tune up your Harley
* Change a light bulb
* Fix your vacuum cleaner
* Kill a spider
* And of course, being the best most entertaining single-serving friend possible
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you need help with your website, general computer help, or something to help you work on your bike I'm you're Huckleberry! I also do graphic design, including logo, brochure, web and flyer design. Have my computer with me at all times. I am a decent cook and my kitchen is always as clean when I leave it as when I started. I also come equipped with a tournament Chess board for those who enjoy a casual game of Chess.
