About Me

Retired now with house in Sayulita, Mexico in winter and North Vancouver in summer. Now embracing meditation, cold plunges, grounding in exercise ( bike, hike, paddle, pickle ball). Now that our 2 kids are out of the house we have room to let other kids explore this beautiful part of the world. 🌈friendly. Seems most of my friends 30-55 so don’t let my older age fool you. I am fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet good curious young minds and to liven up the house with good talks. The hangouts are great for discovering human connection. We aim to share our paddle boards ( for paddling and crabbing) and bikes to explore beautiful Deep Cove.

Interests

Paddle boarding, paddle surfing, road and mountain biking, downhill and skate ski, golf, travel, architecture, live house concerts, breath work and cold plunges, long conversation and now feeling out nudity in nature (on warm days). Pickle ball on cooler days haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned to paddle surf late in life

Teach, Learn, Share

“You shouldn’t think less of yourself you should think of yourself less”

I’m originally from Nova Scotia so socializing in my dna. I love to hang out and discuss life, both the good and bad, emotions and why, what makes us who we are and what we aim to be. Yes I’ve been around the sun a few times and have few regrets. My first half of life I took to build my family and friends. This half I’m looking to give back and am embracing my spiritual nature, my true sexuality (bi), and the inner joy in simple human connecting. Like to eat, laugh, sit around a camp fire, discover new places and friends. We have 4 house concerts per year to support musical talent. Into hiking up river to cold plunge after breath work. When not in Vancouver in summer or Sayulita in winter we explore in our RV
