Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has changed my life ever since I started hosting while living and working in Australia for two years, 2012/2013. Since setting off travelling through Europe got to experience the humbling opportunity of surfing in foreign countries.
Through couchsurfing I have made life-long (international) friends, cooked and shared meals, explored, shared stories, laughed, learnt, taught and grown through shared experiences. I have even had the privilege, specifically in Germany and Poland, to stay with friends (couchsurfers) who had previously stayed with me. It was amazing to see where they live, meet their families, and be shown around their home town.

We are all here on this planet to constantly learn, teach and share from one another. If we take the time to listen we all have something to learn from every interaction we have with people. Couchsurfing is a perfect platform to act as a catalyst for this shared knowledge and experiences between humans.

Well many stories, food and cooking ideas and some yummy vegetarian recipes, intelligent conversation, my personality, and ear to listen and of course respect.
