Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for some places to stay for a night or two along the way during Billy Strings spring tour. I am not traveling with any pets. Thinking this might be a cool way to meet new people, see new things, and to learn about the area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a truck driver after he rolled his semi truck. Driving around a curve on the 290 e in Chicago, I came across a rolled semi, jackknifed across the highway. It was smoking from the engine and smoke had filled the cab. I pulled over and ran to the truck, opened the drivers door and lifted the driver up and out of the truck. He passed out in shock while i was getting him out. I then carefully pulled him to a safe distance from the truck, about 40yards away.
