About Me

Very energetic ... love travelling, great conversation, learning new cultures. Retired a few years ago just to increase my travel experiences. Hope the trend continues.

Don't let my age distract you.....most think I am in my 30's.

If in Chicago great tour guide. Have a huge Italian family so most likely you will meet some of them hanging out with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Learned about the site from a guy on a plane from Austria to Barcelona, Been a member ever since.

A solo traveler most of the time so great to hang out with people experiencing the new areas with others. Not here as a dating app. Just to meet other locals or travelers.

Meet great people from around the world. Experience more of the people and cultural than in the tourist sites.

So much more than a place to stay but making relationships around the world.

Interests

Love to travel. Meet new people. Learn about all cultures. I

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met Pope John Paul II in person in the Vatican,,, was hand picked by a nun to meet him and pray with him. Been travelling a month at a time throughout Europe.

Was in a motorcycle accident on a remote island in Vietnam with no hospital. Ending up breaking my jaw. All good....never forget the overall experience

Spent 5 months in Turkey when only planning 2 weeks. Stayed with a Kurdish family in a mountain village. Best experience of the entire trip

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach you all that I know. Know a little about a lot of things. Great experiences about travel work life etc
