About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make good use of my time on this rock (live, love, learn)

ABOUT ME

I'm a young scientist, recently graduated from college and moved back to my hometown of Tallahassee. I'm extremely happy to be living and working back home. Lover of rocks and rock and roll. Go Seminoles!

PHILOSOPHY

There are interesting people everywhere. I'd like to meet them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host right now, I want to work in many different places over the course of my life. Hopefully couchsurfing will have some significant contribution.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While in college in Boone, NC, I hosted a handful of travelers. My roommates and I took our guests to see all the local sights, hiking and bar hopping. I look forward to showing surfers the hidden gems of Tallahassee.

Interests

I enjoy the same things many other 23 year old's do: sports, music, new people, and the peoples porter.

  • music
  • hiking
  • sports
  • science

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a variety of musics, all of which are played on WFSU's v89 "The Voice," which is the best radio station ON EARTH. A handful of my favorite genres are new wave, bluegrass, jazz age. I'm wanting to learn more world music.

I now have enough free time on my hands to start reading for pleasure, so my reading list is growing exponentially. I'm currently excited about a Gandhi biography and Carl Hiassen.

As far as movies go, I enjoy everything from IFC or Sundance flicks to Hollywood blockbusters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

St Peters Basilica and Westminister Abbey

Teach, Learn, Share

My father's friend once told me (while I was on one of the major precipices of deciding what to do with my life) that "You can do what you want to do, you can live where you want to live, or you can make what you want to make. A lucky person can do two out of the three."

This has stuck with me more than anything else.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
