About Me
ABOUT ME
I live in small town Vermont working as a high school French and German teacher for the last four years. Travel is one of my favorite things to do and I try to hit the road as much as possible. I am a big fan of practicing languages and learning about other cultures. While I am teaching my students, I also learn from them and they give me a lot of energy and motivation. Even if they don't speak French after graduating, I hope to have taught them how to be smart travelers and keep an open mind, which I think is a pretty good life skill.
I taught English in Japan and France, and traveled through Ireland, Martinique, France, and Switzerland.
I participate in a French language club near my town, trivia Thursdays (the librarians always win!) , and group road cycling events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a Buddhist temple tour through Portland, Oregon by bike starting at 7 in the morning and ending around 9 at night. We finished the evening by spending time at a non-profit restaurant run by Buddhist nuns from Vietnam. Oh, also, taking a tour of the Whiskey museum in Dublin...yeah, that's two, I know :)
