Hi I'm Scott, I grew up in New Zealand, wonderful country! go if you have not already. I've been doing carpentry for about 8 years, loving it! It's awesome meeting and learning from people and travel is the best way to do it

hosted in Auckland quite a few times now, enjoyed it heaps. looking forward to the UK and Europe where I hope to meet a bunch more CouchSurfers

Great experiences so far! although it can be a little tough to find couches but so far everyone I've met has been lovely :-)

Interests

Traveling of course, reading/writing, Sienfeld, Ricky Gervais, Flight of the Concords etc, I've been into skateboarding for half my life, Ive tried a bit of snowboarding and surfing too. Music means a lot to me. And ..the world! I read as much as I can about it and the people that fill it.

I flew in a 10ft plane on a stretcher, aided by morphine, with a broken hip from gisbourne to Auckland

I could teach skateboarding! Carpentry as well. Different cultures interest me, Travel ideas for Antarctica would be good. If you know of places that I could work as a carpenter let me know too.
