ABOUT ME

I'm a Kentucky kid trying to build up the courage to get out and see the world. I left my job and my life to start living. I'm in Australia for around a year on a working holiday, looking to meet new people and enjoy some life experiences.

I'm the oldest of three boys and the proud co parent of a Blue Heeler.

When I'm not working, I am usually eating.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I am usually willing to give pretty much anyone a chance. I dont take things too seriously and hopefully you don't either. I find myself more and more yearning to get out and see things that I never thought possible. I always thought travelling or gaining new experiences was something only rich people could do, but I'm learning more and more that the hardest part isnt paying for travel, but being willing to make sacrifices and step out of your comfort zone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a few times in the States, so far my involvement with couchsurfing in Australia has been getting connected with the local community in Gold Coast. I don't know a lot of people yet, so its been great to make new friends and be around like-minded people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had an account for a while but first got involved with my surfing experience in Seattle. Open now to more hosting opportunities as well as connecting with other CS people in my area.

兴趣

I love coffee, good conversation, good beer, street performers, any kind of sporting events, an occasional board game, getting lost, holes in the wall, a few more beers, cell phones, bad movies and escaping for weekends at a time, pouring myself into a tv series with complete focus (Currently: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire), being barefoot, doing tricks with my toes while being barefoot.

While walking with a heavy backpack through a neighborhood I didn't know in New Orleans, some little kids asked me to come eat lunch with them. Had a much needed bottle of water and some really good friend chicken :)
