ABOUT ME

I'm 24, two years out of college and currently living in Oakland. I'm working at two different nonprofits, one of which does green events and the other works in sustainable seafood. Other than that, I travel a decent amount, read a lot, do crossword puzzles, listen to podcasts and lots of music, and spend a lot of time just learning and exploring. I'm pretty quiet, very laid back, and laugh more than the average human.

PHILOSOPHY

To quote Brian Cox: "We are the cosmos made conscious and life is the means by which the universe understands itself."€ I believe in maintaining humor and humility in the search for understanding.

I spent a week on an elephant reserve in Thailand, where I was paired with an elephant and learned to ride, feed, bathe, and care for her. One of those weeks where I just kept repeating "I can't believe I'm getting to do this!" over and over in my head.
