CURRENT MISSION

My mission like so many others on this site is to see the world! More then that I want to have those moments that make life unique; Jumping from boat to boat in the atlantic, smoking hash in Africa, spearfishing in the keys!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm 6'3", blonde, and goofy. I like Indie music mostly, favorite bands: Vampire Weekend, Young the Giant, Jack Johnson, The Beatles, and Bach.

I try to push myself out of my comfort zone as much as possible, I think that there is a line in between the comfort zone and recklessness and that line is called risk and in order to grow as quickly as possible you need to stay on that line of risk.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd say in a world that's working on 8 billion people that only about 1% are actually bad people, in the sense that they do bad things without reasons like hunger or poverty or drug addiction.

I believe that if you give people the benefit of the doubt that they will usually prove themselves.

I believe in being aware but not afraid.

I live my life for those little moments that you repeat over and over and over in your head a thousand times.

I believe in the quote that not travelling is like having the greatest book ever written and only reading one page of it.

I believe it's the duty of every man and woman to explore the world until they find somewhere and someone so beautiful that they couldn't possibly imagine being away from them.

travel is expensive but it shouldn't be. Couch surfing makes us a community of helpers.

"The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" by Douglas Adams is my favorite book of all time.

Coming in at a close second is Friedriche Nietzche's "Beyond Good and Evil" .

Now that I'm writing this I realize how much of a ridiculous hipster I sound like, but regardless my favorite director is Wes Anderson.
