ABOUT ME

I will one day have a dog and name it after some deceased, unknown philosopher so when I have company over I can call to him: "Hey ________." And they will say, "Where did you pick that name?" To which I will respond, pipe in hand and wine in stomach, "Oh, you wouldn't understand... it is an inside joke dating back to my university days...(repeat "university days," gradually becoming inaudible). I am open to suggestions for the name of this dog.

I enjoy good fiction, poetry, film and would like to reciprocate the good vibes by creating something, someday...

If I had the concentration and endurance, I would have also studied geology and sociology.

PHILOSOPHY

We are social beings. All knowledge, humor, poetry, music, et cetera is useless if we can't share it with other people. Creativity feeds off conversations (whether between a reader and an old book or between a priest and atheist).

Interests

Road trips, traveling, drumming, photography, poetry, badminton. I rowed crew.
I enjoy nature and am inside too often.
I bike on my way to work. this is probably the best part of my day.
