About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn something new everyday, and to better myself in some way.

ABOUT ME

My best friends would say that I'm diligent, loyal, and creative. I constantly try to learn new things in any capacity and believe highly in personal mastery as you move along. I have been to many places in the United States and a few countries overseas, but would love to do more traveling especially via couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I view all things as one, and people are the refracted colors of light through the prism of subjective experience.
We should be learning something new everyday.
Truth is the currency of love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have couchsurfed at two locations during a week long vacation to Colorado, and all I have to say is that it exceeded my expectations. Since then I have highly recommended it to people.

Interests

I spend most of my time working at Whole Foods, which I do love and hope to grow with. Formerly I was in the coffee industry for 6 years having owned my own shop for three. Awesome, but very difficult experience. I still love coffee but have grown more interest in craft beer and wine overtime through my job. In my free time I love learning new things, poetry, and looking for new experiences of any sort.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Hm, hard to say. I enjoy many, but always thought using movies as means of identifying yourself was short of true perspective of who you are, and too easy to saturate with anything.
Shows - I don't watch tv, and will never own cable, but I love the shows: House, Hell's Kitchen, Shark Tank, and American Pickers.
Books - Way too many. I received a degree in English, lol! As for a few: Sovereign Individual, Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About, Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and I suppose anything from the American Transcendentalist literature including Emerson, Whitman, and Thoreau.
Favorite Poetry book of all time - Silver Sands and Singing Seas (obscure little book I found in an underground book store)
Music - I listen to a lot of different things, but again, hard to really identify a genre. I suppose some artists are Anberlin, Daft Punk, Phantagram, and Port Blue.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've had the chance to travel quite extensively in my life, both domestic and abroad. Internationally I've been to Ireland, England, Wales, and Puerto Rico. State side I have been to California, Colorado, Ohio, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, D.C., etc. etc. Awestruck moments - seeing the sheer beauty of the green country side in Ireland, the red rock plateaus in Golden, and having owned my own coffee shop at the age of 23. I suppose there are more, but without writing a novella it would be too much to be concise.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ireland, United Kingdom, United States
