Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lend my couch to travellers when i have a one, i surf other peoples and i am also a member or several groups in which i am happy to help with my knowledge when i can.

I would prefer to host people that are going to stay for more than one night so we can get to know each other better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my couchsurfing experiences have been laden with fun times and good banter!

Interests

I am interested in people, music, painting, drawing, soclialising with friends, hiking, reading, going out to pubs and clubs, shamanism, fire poi, juggling, drummming, and i am passionate about the environment.

I enjoy playing Tabla, Djembe, and mahdol drums. I also like to play the didgeridoo and create music using my laptop.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music pumps through my veins like globules* of blue cheese. I love musical vibrations from every genre. My CD collection ranges from Classical, to Reagge to Drum and Bass to Rock to Blah Blah Blah and so on. Icelandic music has a special place in my heart, particularly sigur ros and mum.

I read a wide range of books but I particularly like true story travel books, and books about tribal groups. I also enjoy books on the evolution of the earth and human beings. I am getting more and more in to cosmology, but sometimes the books can get to deep into the physics and it all starts to melt my brain.

I like lots of films but there are two that come to mind, 'Withnail and I' and 'The Story of the Weeping Camel'......two crackin films

*Globules are the smallest and most regular features of the interstellar medium. Typically they have a mass of 20 to 100 solar masses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught in a school in Nepal high in the mountains near the border of Tibet. One of the best experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Top tip....when making lasagna, try it with haggis instead of mince. Also beware of people in polonecks
