About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet folk
ABOUT ME
I set up a couchsurfing account when I was travelling round Latin America last year. I think its a great tool to meet people and enter into local cultures. Before travelling I got a degree from Glasgow University in philosophy and politics; I am currently a posty saving up to eventually continue with postgraduate studies. At the moment, with the very few holidays I currently get I plan to travel mainly round the UK, doing some hillwalking and getting to know the West of Scotland which I shamefully have never visited before.
PHILOSOPHY
Hmm four years of a philosophy degree and this still remains the dreaded question... i dont like greed, selfishness, arrogance or rangers football club. Although I'd be happy to stay with or host a Rangers fan, as long as its not Diouf
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to meet folk, and have a diverse range of interests...one day you could find me in uber-geek mode playing chess or reading Das Capital by Marx (currently battling through chapter 3), on another day you'll see me downing some scotch or lager down the pub.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As I said I couchsurfed quite a lot in Latin America, but always as a surfer... would like to try out couchsurfing in the UK too
