ABOUT ME

I am a happy citizen of the world. I enjoy meeting new people, travel, adventure and being outdoors. My wife Magda is from Poland so we try to spend a few months there, a few months traveling and 6 months home in Flagstaff working to fund our next adventure each year.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind whenever possible.....it is always possible.

My Couch Surfing philosophy is one of "personal responsibility". I think that surfing is mostly about fit between host and guest. People should seek hosts that fit them and hosts should seek the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was a very early adopter of Couchsurfing. My original profile and references under "Moonwalkers" went to my ex-girlfriend and co-host many years ago. I’ve hosted well over 700 people and still keep in touch with a few valued friends I have met through the community. I recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of a friendship with a couchsurfer who later introduced me to my wife.
I've surfed in the US and across the globe. One night in Paris with a household of French chefs was a most memorable experience.

I love cooking, music (playing and listening), traveling, being outdoors, motorcycles and making new friends. We typically spend three months of the year in Poland with Magda’s family, three months traveling and six months in Flagstaff.

I am typically reading three or four books at any given time. I love to play and listen to music of all genres. I host outdoor movies at our house during summers and prefer alternative cinema.

I have lived, worked and played all over our planet. Most recently I completed a 2 month long solo motorcycle trip around Europe. This year my idea is to motorcycle around Northern India and Nepal.
