ABOUT ME

I am a criminal defense attorney in my early thirties who also runs a series of websites (blogs) that allow me to work from my computer and help me afford to travel. I caught the travel bug at an early age. At 31, I just bought my first "hostel property". I hope to turn it into a youth hostel. I love to travel and meet new people, like YOU! (maybe... if you let me sleep on your couch).

If anyone wants to visit me in Detroit they are weicomed! While Detroit seems to have a bad rep, the more I learn about the city the more I absolutely love it and want to share it with visitors. Unlike many places, it seems as if the ONLY way to figure out how to travel around Detroit is with a local.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once spent ten or so days sleeping on trains throughout Eastern Europe, putting my backpack in a locker during the day while I explored cities and sleeping on trains at night. It was one of the best times of my life.
