ABOUT ME

Well... hard to be objective about what my friends would say, but at the very least, they'd say I am loyal and always there for them. That goes for my wife, as well. I am progressive, open minded, and not too terribly set in my ways for a guy of 47. I adore humor and intelligent critical thinking.

Brand new to this whole thang. So time will tell. But I really get a good vibe from perusing the site, and spirit of community is evident.

Interests

Tackling big things. We've undertaken some big challenges i.e. building our own home (literally, just us two, from the ground up) and starting a business. In most cases, we really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into, but are always happy for the journey and having something to show for the effort.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did skydive once - and not the tandem-thing, either. Just me jumping out of an airplane, alone. Hard to believe I did it, in retrospect. I have been "awestruck" many times upon arriving at a foreign (to me) place such as the Guatemala, Amsterdam, Germany, etc.
