ABOUT ME

Well,
Im an engineering student in sydney. love my sports. esp. the ones on the 'extreme'r' end of the scale.
love snowboarding, downhill mtb'ing, skateboarding

Im really really REALLY easy going, love my mates, loves having a good time.

What else? Well i suddenly have a great urge to travel! this was sparked off last year when i went with a few mates over to NZ for a snowboarding trip..in short..loveeeeed it!

Then low and behold another snowboarding trip landed sweetly in my lap, so off to japan i went in early january. again LOVEDDDDDDD IT....tokyo is something else...

So i got back from that trip and went to bed. woke up the next morning and called my travel agent and 11 months later here i am updating my couchsurfing profile in northern croatia... :)

yewwwwwwwww!!!

update: no longer in northern croatia hahahaha

***EDIT***

After a long trip, im finally back home. Straight back into university life!

***EDIT***
No longer a uni student. BAM Engineering Degree with honours.

***EDIT***
Currently living and working between Toronto and NYC.

PHILOSOPHY

I was listing to an interview with lance armstrong and what he said blew me away so i've taken it inboard as my own person philosophy.

"This is my body. And I can do whatever I want to it. I can push it. Study it. Tweak it. Listen to it. Everybody wants to know what I'm on. What am I on? I'm on my bike busting my ass six hours a day. What are you on?"
- Lance Armstrong

Don't regret the things you've done. Regret the things you didn't do when you had the chance.

If i had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see??

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing around the world :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1. Oktoberfest is insane
2. The world is a wonderful place. The kindness and generosity of complete strangers brings a tear to my eye.
3. Meet locals! Even if you dont surf there couches, they know the city better than any guide book!!!

Interests

sports
how does that saying go...'trains planes and automobiles', anything 'mechanical' really
travel
languages (havnt quite mastered this one yet :P)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a common theme with all three of these.

I read anything
I listen to anything
I watch anything

Knowledge comes from observations........

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far this trip i have been on 3 amazing rail trips.

Oslo -> Bergen
Salzburg -> Lesce Bled
Zagreb -> Pula

***EDIT***
The world is an amazing place. People who don't appreciate it.....shame on you. Enjoy the culture. Thats why you travel. Don't complain about how dirty, noisy, strange, religious a place is. Accept it.

Everytime i fly into a new country/city and see it from the air for the first time. Rome was a fine example of this...probably the BEST approach for a aircraft (flying low over the colosseum)

I've jumped out of a plane?

Teach, Learn, Share

My extensive knowledge on fluid mechanics and thermodynamics?

oh and i can get you on a snowboard in 48 hours. :)
