Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Snowboard as many different mountains as possible and backpack through as many countries as possible before I get too old!
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand (RIP). I've travelled extensively around the world over the last 12 years or so and have just visited my 45th country - Turkey. I've backpacked across North America, all over South America, to many countries in Europe and all through Asia. Have lived in Australia and the UK and now call Montreal, Canada my home. I just got permanent residence and will be heading back permanently in April!
I love travelling, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and foods, broadening my horizons and opening my eyes to what amazing things this world has to offer!
I've spent the last 6 months in the Middle East leading overland tours in Syria, Jordan and Egypt. Tough job, but with many rewards and perks. Quite the experience!
PHILOSOPHY
Never live life without a goal ahead of you. The grind ain't so bad when you have a light at the end of the tunnel!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Seeing the Rolling Stones perform to the 2nd biggest concert crowd in history on Copacabana Beach in Rio.
Hitch-hiking from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts in North America and being constantly overwhelmed by the generosity of those who offered rides, meals, places to stay, or insights into local culture, history or customs.
Hiking the Na Pali coast on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
Finding the secret swimming spot beneath the monstrous Iguassu Falls, Argentina.
Partying on Bourbon St. at a pre-Katrina Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Witnessing the beauty and brutality of a Tibetan sky burial.
Watching the sunrise over the Meilixueshan range in Tibet from Deqin, Yunnan.
Becoming part of the thru-hiker subculture for a few days on the Appalachian Trail in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Being constantly amazed and disgusted by the average Chinese toilet!
Glastonbury Festival, England - One of the best weekends of my life!
Oktoberfest, Munich - Making friends with people of all nationalites despite impossible language barriers
Walking the crumbling and spectacular section f the Great Wall of China between Jinshanling and Simitai.
Snowboarding in more than 2-ft of fresh, light powder in Utah
Hiking to K2 basecamp in Pakistan.
Being invited into yurts by nomadic farmers in Kyrgyzstan.
So many more... too many to list!
