About Me

Hiya,

My name's Mark.

I'm currently studying Geography as a mature student in London. It took me years to figure out what I wanted to study - didn't realise the answer was in front me the whole time; the world!

I figured this out after spending several years living and traveling around of most of Asia, Aussie and Nz.

My girlfriend and I met in a backpackers hostel in Melbourne and I followed her back to Taiwan, where I taught English for a couple of years. I loved it! I started out thinking that I didn't like kids. It turned out that I just didn't know how to handle them. Once I worked that out, I loved them!

I'm on here to meet more wonderful people. Some of the most interesting people I've met are from here! The weekly meet-ups in Taipei were always great fun! I still haven't gotten around to meeting up with CSers in London though!

I'm a chilled out person who loves to laugh and enjoy my life. I used to really love a party, but I've grown out of that lifestyle now.

Look forward to chatting, Mark.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything by Irvine Welsh, Stephen Fry and Dan Brown.
Read some amazing books in India...Q&A (made into slum dog millionaire), six suspects (same author)... The White Tiger (Aravind Adiga) and Between the Assassinations (same author)
Also finally got round to reading 1984.

Also 'Shantaram' is by far the best book I've ever read...just brought the mandarin translation for my lady!

Music- I'd be here all day...same goes with films but my favorite is Forest Gump (cheesy I know)
