Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and enjoy hosting people on my couch. I've been doing it in the contradance community for years. This is just a logical expansion to welcome non-dancers passing through.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on so many floors and strange beds that I can't remember half of them!!! And that doesn't count the backpacking I do. As a folk musician, hotel and motel accomodations were not in the budget and event hosters always supplied the billets.

Interests

all kinds. If it's good, I like it! I just love a good story told well. And I have always enjoyed fantasy, sci-fi, and mythology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 weeks in Guatemala several years ago. Too many peaks in BC to name. One of the "Woodstock attendees". Awarded my PhD when I turned 45. But the most amazing thing I think I ever saw was my daughter emerging from my wife's belly. It was a home birth tended by a midwife and I helped to deliver her. How 80's is that!!!!!! Now an ex-wife but the baby is married and still my daughter :))
