About Me

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a village in north west England, spending most of my life there. I'm kind of quiet I suppose (I have no idea what to write here, for example). I spent my teen years playing guitar and riding my skateboard and it's actually what I spend a lot of time doing now... I've worked a lot of different jobs, so now I think it's time to go back to studying! Hopefully this September I'll have managed to get back on track. If not, then, I'll probably just continue wandering around... :) I'd love to see some more of the world so I guess that's no problem really.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be mean

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted, I also enjoy the CS meet ups now and again

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience has opened new doors! Quite literally

Interests

I'm a pretty laid back guy. I've always loved music, ever since my Dad would get out the Led on Saturday mornings, or crank up the Free Bird while we drove down the motorway.
Traveling - I've mainly been around Europe just on holiday etc, but I've seen quite a few places :) edit: I've also been backpacking up and down the west coast, south and middle of America now, also some of Canada. Had the best summer of couchsurfing and ridesharing.
I like trying/cooking new food. I don't really eat meat, but in new cultures etc I'll usually let it slide... I think the term is flexetarian or something haha.
Also since I've been traveling, I've decided to start collecting compasses. So far I'm up to two, it's a pretty crappy collection.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like films, films are good. Recently I have enjoyed Hanna, The Invention Of Lying, City Of Ember, Submarine, The Tree Of Life.
I love South Park and I think I always will. There are periods in my life where there is no South Park, but then I get back on the wagon and enjoy South Park once again.
I really don't know where to start with music. There's just so much for so many different moods and situations. I started out as a mini rocker, but as I grew discovered so many more genres and styles. I love the use of music in film and how important it is to the way you interpret the images on screen.
I don't really read a lot, I know I should read more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched a couple of meteor showers with my buddies, they're pretty amazing. I like climbing way up high, rooftops and trees are fun to hang out on top of.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some guitar, or English if you're not so fluent - although most people from other countries tend to speak it better than me :) I love to cook, if you'd like to cook something together that would be great.
