i am looking for places to stay during my journey along interstate 80 sometime in late february or early march. i am specifically looking for people in:

des moines, iowa

lincoln, nebraska

cheyenne, wyoming

salt lake city, utah

reno, nevada

but i would really be happy to stay anywhere, as long as it's relatively close to the interstate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

about four and a half years ago, a girlfriend of mine won two tickets to ladyfest midwest from bust dot com. then, via the internet, she found us a couch to stay on. this girl allyssa offered her place to about thirty riot girls that came from all corners of the nation. it was amazing.

until my car was towed and my funds had already depleted. i stayed up all night stripping beer bottles of their labels and decoupaging kitschy clip-outs from seventies porn mags to the bottles. then i sold the bottles the next day at the ladyfest picnic, because i didn't want to seem like any random panhandler. i wanted to have something to offer. everyone equally pitied and loved me. and i got the money.
