To travel as much as possible in order to better understand the world and make new friendships.

ABOUT ME

I am starting the third year of a PhD program at Vanderbilt University in Biomedical Engineering. I enjoy going to see live music, heading out to bars with friends, and keeping myself busy in Nashville, TN. I have a sincere desire to continue traveling although lack of money and time currently make that difficult. I'm an outgoing, friendly person and am always willing to meet new people.

I lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil with a family for about seven months in 2006 and absolutely loved it. I want to travel as much as I can while I am young and have freedom.

Anyone who takes me in will not have to worry about me being disrespectful or rude. I try to work around other people, especially when I am in their culture (and/or home).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been off of CS for about two years now and just re-activated my account. I stay quite busy with school/work and cannot promise that I can host, but I am always willing to at least give some suggestions about where to go in Nashville and possibly provide a place to crash.
