ABOUT ME

In what seems like other lifetimes, I've worked in nonprofit organizations with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, homeless youth, university students, rock stars, vacationers, and farm animals. Now I'm taking care of me. I spend a lot of time, when I'm not working, exploring my new home city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In my travels, I want to contribute as much as time and money allow to the communities in which I find myself. I'd like to make friends and leave a small footprint. Now that I have a home and a couch, it's time to reciprocate. Heaping thanks to all my CS hosts/friends present and future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If memory serves, most of my non CS couchsurfing has taken place while touring with rock bands. Fans and new friends are so gracious in offering beds, couches, floors, showers, food and drink... Thanks to all of you and those like you!

Since joining CS, I have had wonderful hosts in Italy and had received terrific travel advice from others all over the place. Now, while planning my next adventure, it's time to try hosting.

Intereses

Local food, drink, music and culture in places I wander, including Portland; creating and sharing natural body care products; forging new friendships; most sports I can watch in person, personal fitness and care of self.

Música, películas y libros

I don't particularly care for techno music, super violent films, or romance novels. Apart from that, I'll give it a try at least once. Muchly prefer non-fiction writing; movies that are either funny, star Paul Newman or both; music should speak to me, move me or sooth me.
