ABOUT ME

I moved to Reading in 2003 and struggled to make it home but now I am very happy here. I live with my partner Marc (He's Dutch) and have a very busy social life, mainly based round music and socialising with friends. We are mad about a game called Werewolves and love to BBQ, when the weather is fine.

We have the best coffee shop in the world on our doorstep (Workhouse Coffee Shop- Oxford Road) It is an independent establishment which serves wonderful coffee attended by even more wonderful staff and attracts an interesting group of individuals and families. A real must!

I love travel but also believe we have some magnificent countryside and towns right here in Britain. I was lucky enough to have worked and lived in Dumfries for 14 years and am a country boy at heart who loves living in Reading.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some but esp. some kind folks took us in when in Christchurch NZ our hostel was raised to the ground in the earthquake of Feb 2011
