I am Basti, a 23 year old student of biology. I just finished my bachelor in biology and take a semester off to travel around central america by bicycle!
I want to go to Mexico, Belize and Cuba, starting my journey at Tijuana and cycle down Baja California until La Paz. Then I want to take the ferrie to Mazatlan and travel over Mexico City to Yucatan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet local people and hear their stories. I travel by bicycle to have the time to see all the small and authentic places people live in. My couchsurfing expieriences showed me a lot of friendly, true personalities and allowes me to see more than just the places for tourists.

Interests

I love ancient cultures and the discovery of different landscapes. Beeing a biologist makes me love everything that lives on this planet and forces me to unravel its secrets.
