Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lately we have been delightfully inundated with requests and it has been lovely meeting so many people. Our house is very often full, sometimes with guests overlapping other guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One person stayed here in 2008, then no one until the summer of 2012 when the flood gates opened. Lately we have been out of the surfing loop as children and grandchildren return for various lengths of time and professional lives demanded more attention, but we are extending ourselves once again. If we have room anyone is welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

helped many babies be born into the world peacefully, thrown a javelin in the ancient stadium of Zeus in Delphi Greece, flown on a flying trapeze, helped to intercede (with my husband and son) as a man was being beaten up at gun point, sung in a rock-n-roll band, been grateful for life and love....

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach all kinds of movement, circus and theater arts. I can do a lot of DIY construction and crafty stuff....including but not limited to: upholstery, wool handcrafts (felting), sewing, painting, carpentry, mosaics, carving, sculpting, beekeeping, home decor/design, concocting Scottish Cream liqueur, making toffee, singing babies to sleep...
There is no end what I want to learn but these things are on the list: languages, fly a helicopter, weld, parkour, scuba dive, play poker...
