Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but spent the past 7 years in Chicago, both feel like home or at least a nostalgic sense of home. I have been traveling/ living on the road since February 2016. Now living as a nomad feels a bit more like home, and my place of birth is simply that.

I am a performance artist and contemporary /modern dancer. I enjoy dancing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, scuba diving, and yoga.

Quit my job and sold my belongings in February 2016 and have been traveling ever since. When I travel, I like to get away from the tourist mindset and try to immerse myself in whatever country and culture I am in as if I live there rather than simply a visitor. If I can stay or connect with people who actually live there, via couchsurfing, then I will have a better chance of getting a more authentic perspective of the places I go. Traveling is not about crossing off a checklist of the places I go or see, but to really experience them from multiple perspectives.

Took a solo cycling tour (roughly 1,200 miles/1,900 km) from San Francisco, CA to Seattle, WA in the summer of 2015.
