Documentary filmmaker and Master in Public Policy Student. After listening to hundreds of life histories about unspeakable human rights violations, I’ve decided to dedicate my life and career to fighting against these realities through the use of audiovisual and participatory methods for public policy design and social transformation in Colombian society. Audiovisual techniques play an enormously important role in the protection of human rights, not only by exposing human rights violations, but also by using audiovisual techniques to catalyze social transformation through participatory projects. Working as a filmmaker as part of the Participatory Action Research for Social Justice team has been the most amazing experience of my life.
