About Me

CURRENT MISSION

You'll do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm.

ABOUT ME

Well ... My name is Talitha and I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I study Romance Languages (Latin Languages) and I have somewhat of a ridiculous fascination with the connections between history, geography, culture and their effect on the way we communicate. I'll read anything that I can get my hands on, and I have a bad habit of playing life like an RPG. I like to live a life worth living, knowing that each activity or action puts me one step closer to my ideal life. However, I still go out drinking with friends, stay up too late reading manga and watching asian dramas and telenovelas, and eat foods that are ridiculously unhealthy for me. These things keep me grounded, keep me sane, and keep me happy.
In this RPG we only have one life. No resurrections, no save-points. I believe that we should be confident in our choices, accept the consequences of our actions, and live with no regrets.

PHILOSOPHY

Approach different experiences with no preconceived notions. Take chances, and even if you've made bad, sometimes absolutely horrible decisions in your life, never regret the choices you've made because it's those choices and those experiences that have made you who you are today.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Guy Ritchie films, Love and other Disasters, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Indiana Jones, Ong-Bak, and your typical rom-coms and musicals.

Music: I have a pretty eclectic taste in music and I pretty much like everything except for polka.

Books: Trashy romance novels (they're horrible, I know, but I can't help it)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a chance on fate and moved to a country I had never even heard of, yet alone knew where it was on a map. By doing so I expanded my world, got a crash course in Spanish, and made some memories that will last a lifetime.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a biological need to feed people (I'm Filipino, what can you do?) so I would be more than happy to cook a meal for us to enjoy together, along with some great conversation.

I study languages, so any language I know I can try and teach you!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Panama, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Costa Rica, France, Spain, United States
