ABOUT ME

I love meeting other people and hearing their stories! I want to discover new music, foods, idioms, ways of thinking, and anything about the world. I'm a science teacher, which gives me lots of time to travel.

I love to cook and bake (and share!)

For hobbies I bike, code, dive, play board games, and climb.

PHILOSOPHY

I value connections over sights. I don't want to just check off a list of countries, but want to have memorable experiences.

When I travel I like to try to see what it would be like to live in that country. Some of the best times are running errands with couchsurfers! I love checking out what the grocery store is like in a place.

I'm getting into climbing, archery and coding.

I'm also in the burning man community.

In Indonesia, I swam in a lake full of jellyfish that can't sting. The whole experience of getting there, meeting up with people, and the beauty of the lake itself is a great memory.
