About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to rule the world... or at least see it all!

ABOUT ME

Currently taking a break from the rat race to raise my littles, and having a blast. We love traveling, though with young kids I don't get as many trips in as I would like. Most recently we have had the opportunity to visit Cozumel and Costa Rica as a family. We love exposing ourselves and our children to different cultures, and ideas, foods, etc - and look forward to hosting guests during their travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love love love to travel. The next best thing to traveling myself is hosting other world travelers and hearing their stories! (and gaining ideas for my next adventure)

The idea of this site spoke to me from the moment I learned of its existence. Simply everything about it is pretty much awesome. As was said perfectly by Mark Twain:

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

I subscribe to that concept and find couchsurfing to be the perfect tool to travel even when in my own home (but preferably out of it!)
