About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world through first-hand experience and learn more about myself in the process.

ABOUT ME

I am a fun and outgoing individual who loves meeting new people and learning from them. I love making anything in life into an adventure, whether it´s something as elaborate as skiing in Whistler, BC or as simple as going to the local grocery store in Wayne, NJ. Anything that enhances my sense of reality and brings new experience is fair game in my book. I love life and want to live it to the fullest.

PHILOSOPHY

To me, life ultimately has no point, which is why I want to make my life one large, fun celebration. We're all going to die sooner or later, so why shouldn't we at least enjoy ourselves as much as possible before then?

Worrying about social judgment holds you back from what you really want in life. Care about other people, but stop caring about what they think of you.

Be authentic. Love yourself. Be generous when you can. Live by your own standards. HAVE FUN.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this community, so for now I am just looking for places to stay in Paris, Berlin, and perhaps Budapest. However, if anyone needs some lodging in New York this summer, I could help make something work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't know if I'd really call this a CouchSurfing experience per say, but my friend and I stayed with a Spanish-speaking family in Peru last January. They were nothing but kind to us, and they made our time in Cusco that much more enjoyable. Plus, I got to brush up on the Spanish that I took for 4 years in middle and high school.

Interests

- Music - I play guitar, Korean drums, and a little bit of keyboard
- Outdoor sports - Frisbee is my new thing
- Socializing, meeting new people, getting a sense of different cultures
- Self-help - When I can, I like to read books by various authors such as Tolle, Leonard, etc.
- Sightseeing and learning about the history of certain landmarks

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go see The Frames or The Swell Season perform live. Glen Hansard has one of the most amazing and dynamic voices I've ever heard in rock music.

Oh... and I also "zipped" (sped on a zipline) between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains in British Columbia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the story of how my philosophies on life came to fruition without judgment on anyone else's respective views. I can teach anyone how to play guitar and some basic musicianship skills. I can also teach a little bit of Czech to people who need to get around.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Peru, South Korea, Spain
