Hai Phong is a peaceful city of wide boulevards dovetailed with organized tree rows. As one of the most important commercial and industrial harbours in Northern Vietnam, Hai Phong has an extensive infrastructure and offers premium facilities for tourists. Do Son, which has been a resort town since the French colonial period, boasts its beautiful white-sand beaches and luxurious hotels. Cat Ba Island, which is another tourist-magnet and very near to Lan Ha Bay, is also at the top of the list.

I am staring this business as I love teaching, I also want to make sure my students learn how to pronounce English properly which other schools do not do. However my dream is to open an English center for very poor local children who can’t afford education. I want to teach poor children for free to help them experience a comfortable and proper education in English. This is very important to me because some children cannot go to University. Also speaking basic English greatly helps people in Vietnam to get a job especially the poor children who are not given the same opportunity as wealthier families.

Volunteers will have the chance to work for other schools and centers across all age groups.
You will help plan and teach lessons with lots of help from myself and our assistant teacher who are fluent in English and Vietnamese.

We will be teaching easy beginner classes and advanced speaking classes.
No previous experience in teaching is needed because our lessons are always very fun and relaxed and we aim to create a comfortable and fun environment for our students and teachers.

Very often the students will invite you out for drinks and food in the local town. We also like to cook together and have a party every fortnight or so because this is the best way to learn about each others culture. We prefer to do this because the students can practice their English in a relaxed and fun environment but also show you the best places for food/drink and for the best price!

We are like a small family, you will love staying with us and we can’t wait to meet you and show you our country.

Come to Hai Phong English Homestay we provide for you food and accomodation. Besides we help you to get around and explore the North of Vietnam.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We live in a nice house with 3 bedrooms with clean sheets and fans. ( in summer with aircondition) The bathrooms are shared and you have access to a kitchen with a fridge. Lunch and dinner are provided anyway, additionally there are many cheap shops nearby.You can also use our laundry machine.
Furthermore we provide free water, coffee and tea, as well as wifi and hot showers.

To support exchange and community we arranged a dining and living room where you can hang around during the day and catch up with students to have nice talks.
Everything if u need and i have. I have one room for two people and one sofa. I can share some meal or dishes with our guest and I hope you too. In my house, you can use bathroom with hot water, kitchen room the same me.
