ABOUT ME

I am currently studying in Paris for one year. I arrived in Paris in January from New York City. I want to become fluent in french and want to use that knowledge to travel and work in West Africa after my undergraduate studies. I'm really curious about life, people and other cultures. I would love to use CS as an opportunity to learn about other ways of life and possibly make new friends.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to live your life as freely as possible. Be an individual and define yourself by your own means and not someone elses. I beleive there is no such thing as a stereotype because we are all individuals. I respect people who are open and not afraid of saying what's on their mind.

Interests

I'm interested in the arts, especially native art from different cultures around the world. I really interested in travelling and want to make use of it while staying in Europe. But I'm most interested in exploring different types of music, films, religions, etc. I'm still young and there's so much I need to find out!

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite films is Lost in Translation because I thought it was by far the most honest film I have ever seen, the characters were so relateable.
One of my favorite books is The Shadow of the Sun by Polish author Ryszard Kapuscinski, a great memoir about Africa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think making it to Paris with little knowledge of french and trying to make a life here is pretty amazing!
