About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Master living in Japan, without knowing Japanese yet

ABOUT ME

I'm a very open-minded person that loves to get into touch with others, especially with people from abroad! Travelling became a big part of my life and I love it!

I arrived in Kyoto last year at the end of September and am working (surprise, surprise!) as an English teacher since November.

The last big stop in my life was Vienna/Austria, where I lived for almost three years. Before that I was in Italy for more than a year.

If there is anything you want to know about me, just let me know, I'd be happy to tell you! Maybe you'll find I didn't write much about me, but I'm the "less is sometimes more" type ;)

Hope to hear from you!

PHILOSOPHY

Home is where I lay down my head to sleep.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully I'll be able to participate here in Kyoto through meeting people and making friends. Unfortunately my landlord doesn't allow me to host people, but maybe still we can discover Kyoto together!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some great experiences in Vienna - thank you guys!

Interests

Most of all ART! But indeed my list of interests is endless and I found that it depends on others, if I can be curious about something or not. If you have a passion for it and are able to convey that I'll surely be interested ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Okay, now I can finally also fill in something, that considers CS: Being given trust by a person that barely knows you! Ijaz really blew my mind with that. He is the first person I couchsurfed with, but surely I'll never forget it. He is so friendly and trustful and gave me the keys for his home. His mission is to help others, which is so wonderful! If somebody gives you that much trust, you don't want to let that person down for nothing and prove yourself worthy of it.

Considering Kyoto: Kennin-ji. Just love that temple and luckily it's just around my home and will most likely be my new sanctuary here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was raised to be myself and to do what I want to, but also accepting and dealing with the consequences that follow. The outcome is living life to the fullest and enjoying every bit of it. Sure sometimes it sucks, but there always is a reason to it and it's the tough things in life that make one grow, so get the hell out of your comfort-zone!
