HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, i used work at couchsurfing, which a completely delightful and incredible thing - but all good things must end, no? :)i hope to surf (on couches) quite a bit over the next few months - both to learn the best part of SF, but also more importantly to know more about the people who live in it. i'd also love to join some kick ass activities!

I've surfed in Hawaii and around California, and hosted here in San Francisco several times. AMAZING. <3

oh man!cycling, hiking, and yoga (bikram is my preferred practice, but i would LOVE to try others)camping, road trips, and surfing like a rookie (the kind you do in the ocean!) seeing EPIC live metal shows, listening to modern classical compositions, and reading old school physical books about fate and destinygetting to know new people, getting to try new things, getting to see the world with my eyes wide open

when i went to india, i bonded with a local guy over iron maiden, i taught to and learned from some great colleagues, and i took off my shoes at the taj mahal.but what sticks with me to this day are the buildings; the modern office next to the slum. the dichotomy between the super-rich and the super-poor.and it makes me wonder how the world got this way; about the fame of all the early birds, and about the fate of all the early worms.

and yet still the greatest thing i've ever done with my life was to adopt and love a dog named Ozymandias.
