About Me
Hi! I’m Sean. I work as a scientist and live in Denver, USA, where I spend lots of time outdoors on walks or appreciating views of the mountains. Most days you could find me on a bicycle ride or walking my dog Arlo on the trail near my home. I'm headed to Belgium for work and would love to make some new friends along the way. I have a place to stay in Mechelen, but would love to go on walks, bike rides, get a beer/coffee, or swap stories with new friends during my visit!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new friends while traveling (and hopefully host if you visit Denver!)
Interests
I’m especially interested in writing and story telling. I’ve been writing music since I was 18 and started doing improv in the past few years. My favorite part of backpacking trips and other adventures is making new stories with friends and learning more skills for the outdoors. I studied neuroscience and hearing loss in uni- so I’m a big science fan, too!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like motown, jazz, and indie rock especially. I'm a dork and listen to a lot of fantasy audiobooks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
7 week road trip across the US.
Second best: I lived in a cooperative house with 15 housemates.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play several instruments, like to cook for others, and am trained as a first responder for medical emergencies.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a place to stay in Mechelen, so am mostly looking to meet folks interested in grabbing a beer, going for a walk, cooking a collaborative meal, etc.
In general: I value kindness above all, so if you let me stay in your home I will be extremely respectful. I’m easygoing, low-maintenance, and enjoy meeting new people. Otherwise I really enjoy being helpful when I can!
