About Me

Easy going guy who likes a laugh and chat. I'm currently travelling through Asia to South America and and hope to be back on the Emerald Isle for the spuds this Christmas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One great part of traveling is meeting new people and that is why I signed up to CS. I am genuinely interested in how people live their lives in different parts of this world. I also to like to hear their views and stories about their home place. When I finish this spot of traveling, I hope I can repay the CS host by offering he or she or them an opportunity to crash a night or two at my house, flat or shack to be back in Ireland!

Interests

Music, playing the guitar, watching and playing sports (anything on a green field, I'll watch or try play!), history, nature, hiking, surfing, diving and camping.

Music: love it so can't name all the bands I like! but the main genres I'm into would be alternative, rock (all kinds), hip hop, electronic, dance - anywhere from radiohead, pixies, pink floyd, led zeppelin, bob dylan, blur, tool, tame impala, Jurassic 5, left field, chemical brothers, etc, etc, etc....

Books: I like to read, big fan of George Orwell

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving with whale sharks in the ningaloo reef in Western Australia has to be it. Trekking in Nepal was great, hard to beat that scenery!

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to jam with other people so maybe we could trade songs.

Love learning about the local surroundings, whether it's culture or history and of course trying out the good food!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Card games and travel stories I suppose.

Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, England, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Viet Nam
