Overview
About Me
I am an entrepreneur at heart, but don't view it merely as the act of starting a business. Entrepreneurship to me is a way of viewing the world through the lens of a problem solver. It is about recognizing that my time on this Earth is precious and limited, so I need to bring positivity into the lives of others, and leave this planet better than I found it. Indeed, my impact on this planet and in the lives of others is how I measure success in life.
I'm easy-going and always down for an adventure, love having deep and memorable conversations, as well as building lasting relationships.
I live in Texas with my girlfriend Anne Marie (studying to become a naturopathic doctor) and my three dogs, Kanji, Hachi, and Spirit- two shiba-inus and a wolf hybrid. Currently I work as a digital marketer and UX designer, but would like to be planning and hosting music festivals full-time within a year or so.
They say that we are a combination of the people we are closest to. I take that a step further and believe we are a combination of every person we connect with on a meaningful level. Almost as though through experience a piece of their soul forever intertwines with ours, making us both better people because of it. Symbiosis and intentionality.

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up on a lot of pop-punk stuff: Blink 182, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, etc. and you can occasionally catch me having a nostalgia fest and rocking out to some of these tunes, reminiscing on the days where I was an awkward chubby emo kid.
Nowadays I listen to a lot of jazz... some of my favorite cats are Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson (keyboard), Steve Gadd on the drums, Miles Davis, and really countless others.
Aside from Jazz, I listen to some EDM (love going to festivals), and a good amount of midwest hip-hop. If you like hip-hop, check out Atmosphere and Dem Atlas- Dem is a buddy from high school who's making it pretty big.
I listen to some classical, Debussey and Rachmaninov being my favorites.
As far as movies go, there are really too many to list. Some notable mentions are Totoro (or anything Studio Ghibli for that matter), and Cloud Atlas (which is pretty meta and plays around with themes of time, love, and reincarnation)
I read mostly books about UX design, philosophy, entrepreneurship, or personal growth. Dostoevsky, Jack Kerouac, and David Foster Wallace are some of my favorite writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am organizing an EDM music festival in Waco, Texas on August 27th called Illectric River. I would love to tell you all about it if you're into that sort of thing!
