Lately I’ve been working as a youth developer in the Bay Area. I love music and I’m a bike mechanic sometimes. My ideal couch surfing experience is being shown something that only a local could show me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couch Surfing because travel should be for everyone. Capitalism demands that we all travel like tourists and pay into the economy of tourism and huge hotel chains, and couch surfing offers a beautiful, human way around that. I’m a musician as well, and it makes touring feasible for us diy-ers. I don’t expect much of my surfers other than that they are kind. Anything else is a bonus.

Currently, I can only host when my housemate is away, because we have a very small home.

Studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, and toured in some bands.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic (to advanced) guitar, drums and piano. I am an aspiring audio engineer. I am a skilled bicycle mechanic, and can fix mostly anything, open reluctant jars, etc. I can also cook a decent meal! Love food. I would love some French or Spanish lessons, and would perform some music for you if asked.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, or be your acting sous-chef. I can perform some original music for you. I would not at all mind sweeping or washing my own sheets, or taking the trash out, etc. Music lessons, household repairs or other odd jobs welcome.
