About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of the world as possible!

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going guy. I spend most of my time reading, writing, listening to music and practicing martial arts. When I'm not doing those things I'm joking around with friends and going on mini-adventures. I'm currently saving up money to travel the world and experience various cultures and meet new people and have a fun time.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to make the most out of every day. I'm a strong believer in PMA (positive mental attitude). Somewhat of an utilitarian and stoic. I'm very open-minded and probably the most easy-going person you'll ever meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of many kinds of music. Power metal and thrash metal, and ska-punk and ska-core are my favorites.

I love to read. If I have time, I'll spend an entire day reading a book and finish it in one go. My favorite books are The Count of Monte Cristo, Dracula and Lord of the Rings.

I'm also a big fan of films. The Shawshank Redemption is probably my favorite next to Terminator 2 hahaha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through the gorgeous Rif mountains in Morocco with one of my best friends, and swimming in the freezing waters under a waterfall at the end of the trail. All this was during Ramadan and I was fasting out of respect for the country's religion and for solidarity's sake. Keeping the fast during this day long hike was the most physically and mentally strenuous thing I've ever done. After that I felt like I could do anything, but at the same time I was really humbled by the fact that I wasn't the only one in our group who had fasted that day, not to mention the millions of Muslims around the world. I ain't shit. haha

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I don't claim to know a lot ("All I know is that I know nothing". -Socrates/Plato). But I'm always willing to share opinions on various topics and share my life-experiences as a student, martial artist, writer, fitness and nutrition enthusiast, etc...
