Overview
About Me
I'm a math major from the University of Michigan, now working as a programmer in the Bay Area!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling around the world, but hotels have always seemed like a rather frivolous expense. All I need to explore the world is a place to sleep at night and maybe a guide to help me - it seems like CS is perfect for such a thing!
I'd love to have a slightly more intimate stay during my travels with the kind of welcoming people who host CSers. Having stayed with CS hosts with friends on trips around the US, I've come to expect nothing other than the most welcoming people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Mount Fuji with some friends during May when it is officially closed and completely covered with snow. All of the trails were completely snowed over, and I'm fairly certain each of us almost died several times. Even so, there were some pretty extreme snowboarders who endured the hike for a chance to snowboard down Mount Fuji from the top, one of them even playing a guitar while doing so! I have pictures if you'd like to see!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm Japanese and was born in Japan, so I can share experiences and culture, or teach some Japanese if you'd like. I'd also love to talk about any of your or my interests - I love learning about others' hobbies!
